Obituary of Beverly Westover

East Greenbush-Helen Westover passed away on November 2, 2016 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home. Helen was 93 years old. She was predeceased by her husband George E. Westover, Jr. and her three sisters: Mary Gillen, Adrienne McCormack and Emma Romanych as well as her four brothers: John Kimok, Michael Kimok, Nicholas Kimok and William Kimok. She has several surviving nieces and nephews and will be missed. Helen was a bookkeeper for Miller Paint Store and also for Westover Electronics. She was active in the Women's Auxiliary at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was also an active member of Winding Brook Country Club and enjoyed organizing many activities there. Helen spent many happy winters in West Palm Beach, Florida and summers in Ravena, New York. Her family would like to thank Annette Ferriero, the Nurse Manager of 1 Schodack Square and her wonderful staff, especially her angel Sonya, for the loving kindness and care they provided to Helen during her last years. They were like family to her. At Helen's request, there will be no viewing or services. She will be buried with her beloved husband George at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
