George and Family, I was so very sorry to hear about Marty's passing. She was a wonderful woman and we had many good times together. We could always laugh and enjoy ourselves and she had a heart of gold. May she rest in peace and know that she will be missed by so many. Always in my thoughts and prayers.

I was about 10 or so and at dad's bakery on Broadway in Saratoga. Loved to go there when mom and Aunt Maudie were working. Had gone next door to Globe Supply and bought this arrow that fit over your head and looked like it went through. Wore it as I walked in front door and got laughs. Maudie says let me wear it. So she puts it on and bends down to get something as a lady comes in. The lady is in a hurry and as Maudie rises up she asked for some Danish. Maudie standing now in full view of this lady requests, "Can you please not holler because I have a headache."
The lady looks at her and says "Poor honey, hunting accident?" Dad walks in and goes spastic and fires Maudie for the fourth time that week. Within an hour she was back to work, dad walked by, nothing said. Just another summer day at the shop with the family.Love that one.

This lady loved her family and my condolences goes out to all of you especially George, her sons and grandchildren who she never stopped talking about. Marty was one of a kind. She had personality plus, so witty and down to earth. I wish she had come into my life years ago. How dare she leave without doing all the things we planned. I guess God must have needed her more. Until we meet again my friend. RIP Marty you will be missed.

To Uncle George,Pauly,David and Scotty, Your mom was a fantastic person. She was so much fun and cared about everybody. I can remember the early years of my life when she was at the bakery with my mom and dad. Rest in Peace Aunt Maude. There is a reunion today with family and friends gone before you. Tears flowing because you left too early but God needed a shinning light and took you. Memories we have of you will keep your spirit alive. Love you.

Aunt Maude, you were always the one with a great new story of adventure, a great joke, or the best hug and laugh every time we saw you. As my husband Nick refers to you as the party animal who loved to make everyone smile and had the best personality. You always had great words of wisdom, some seriously delicious recipes, and amazing tales to share. You will be sorely missed, what will we ever do without you, now is our time to pass along your giving spirit and share your love with the world. Our deepest sympathy goes to George, David, Scott,Pauly his children Pauly jr,Madeline, and Rissa.
