I am deeply sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one brings so much pain and grief. But I hope the words found at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4 can help comfort all in grief.

In this life if we can have good friends we are most blessed.. That is what Bro. Dave and Joan were to us. We moved from NY State some 33 years ago but have never had a closed couple than what they were to us. We took a family vacation with them to Schroon Lake and had many picnics with them. Bro. Dave help my husband build our garage and breeze way in Schodack. We helped them move on several occasions and Bro Dave loaned my husband money to buy a snowblower that at the time did not run. Needless to say I was not happy but Bro Dave just teased me about it and I got passed it. We all served together at the church and school. I recall one Saturday they were working on the parsonage when Bro Dave asked Chuck to help him move a piano. Chuck had also called on that free piano for our girls but was told it was already taken. Pastor Worsham told us to take one from the fellowship hall, so the two of them moved two pianos that day. We have never known a more humble man, a man that would move mountains for you if he could. Good bye for now, but we*ll see you soon and we can reminisce for eternity.

My childhood stories of Uncle Dave, Auny Joan and our cousins were one of having a good time.
In the summer we would get together with our families running around the house, playing softball in the lower lawn. Just having a good time with the our cousins sharing good food and building memories.
Another great memory was everybody getting together going to Aunt Emma's and Uncle Wilbors house for Thanksgiving. The kitchen was hot has a can be with lots of cooking. I still can't imagine how we all fit in the Albany apartment not to mention were we all ate. It was one time we would look foward to seeing everybody.
Uncle Dave was a devote family man with strong Christian values who to this day I admire and have always looked up and respected. He will be missed by us all.
Rest in Peace Uncle Dave. We love you.

I can't imagine being in church without Dave standing behind me and hearing his voice as he sang to the Lord. Church will never be the same for me again. I truely loved and admired Dave. It will take many of us to try to fill his shoes and I doubt that we will ever be able to do so. He will be missed but never forgotten.

In what we are sure is a most difficult time for his family, we pray that Almighty God will be your strength and comfort. As hard as it is to lose someone so dear to your heart, we praise God that he can comfort you in the knowledge that this is a short lived separation and you will be united again in glory! We will continue to pray in the days ahead. God bless!

We want to convey our love to you and say we are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful man of God. He was always there whenever and where ever he was needed. It will take more than one man from our congregation to fill his role at church. He was a loving husband to our sister Joan and a loving father and grandfather to his family. He was a gentle man and nothing seemed to upset him. He was a wonderful role model for the men in our church, as well as his own family. He is going to be greatly missed by all of us. I'm sure when he stands before our Lord he will hear, "Well done thy good and faithful servant". Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.

We are so sorry for your loss. He was like a grandfather to us. You have so much to be proud of with the love of God he has lived, and the Christian race he ran very well. He has impacted so many lives including ours. What an awesome legacy he passed down generation to generation. He was such a gentleman in every sense of the word. We will miss him dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Buell family and friends, and our church family. To the Buell family, if there is anything we can do for you-Please let us know. Love and Prayers
