Mrs McCormick was my social studies teacher many years ago. She made a big impression on me, and was one of my favorite teachers. Years later, I met her again through her son Eddie and she hadn't changed a bit. Eddie, I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a great woman. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May she Rest In Peace. Take care.

What can you say...Fran was an inspiration to all women (and men) in the investment business including me. She was bright, witty and the best story teller I know. She certainly lived her life to the fullest, and encouraged those around her to do the same. She was loved by many & will be missed by all. Thoughts and prayers to Mary and all the family. Carol

A true honor and privilege to work with Fran at First Albany. During a very special women advisors retreat, Fran shared her story of leaving teaching and becoming a stockbroker at a time when women were not in the industry - she was a trailblazer and pioneer for sure - and she was successful because she was good and cared. Fran was a highly intelligent, tenacious, witty, and lively personality with a heart as big as her jewelry! I truly was thrilled to see Fran a couple of years ago at an First Albany reunion - she had not changed a bit (a very good thing!). I am certain that the family has many funny stories to cherish her memory. I so enjoyed spending time with Fran on some of the First Albany trips - such as in Greece and Newport, RI. I shall forever hold fond memories of Fran. God bless the family at this difficult time.
