Not, how did he die, but how did he live?
Not, what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of his birth.
Nor what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with words of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away?
Jack helped raise 3 beauiful daughters, Beth, Jenny and Cindy..he excepted step children as his own.. he quickly extended a friendly welcome, a joke, a smile, a helping hand.. We had tons of fun when he was a member of Schodack Valley.. back in the day.. He serviced on the Castleton and Rensselaer Ambulances for many years.. he took excellent care of my Grandma when she was at Barnwell.. He lived a life well lived and will be missed by all that knew him and care about him.. May you rest in peace.. my co outlaw inlaw. Heaven is in for a treat.

I met Jack over 30 years ago when my husband Michael and I first started dating. Jack was always the first with a kind word or a joke and always welcoming. Over the years with his his 3 daughters Beth, Jenny and Cindy and our daughter Lyndsay, there were family gatherings, barbecues weddings and graduations. I remember when I had Lyndsay Jack was a nurse and working that day, he kept it all on perspective so I wouldn't be scared. I will miss him greatly as I have many fond memories of him. Rest in peace Jack, you are with John (the Godfather)Nato, and your mom. My condolences to all of the family.
