Carol,
It seems like only yesterday, we traveled the Caribbean with you parents. Your dad was the organizer of these trips and had so much patience with everyone including us. We had so much fun with your dad, mother and all their friends. I remember him as a soft spoken gentleman ... totally easy going and because of this he made friends so easily.. and Carol you are just like him.
I’m wishing these wonderful memories of your dad bring you and your family comfort. My deepest condolences.

I was about to say that although Gene and I knew Bud only through seeing him occasionally at Lake View with his wife and Carol that we believe he must have been an amazing man to have raised a daughter like her. Then I saw that someone else had made a very similar comment about Carol and her sisters, so I think we have to conclude that it's accurate. I know he was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

So sad to hear of Bud’s passing. He and Joyce (and her parents) were such warm and gracious hosts when we rented part of their beautiful old home on Phillips Rd when I was in law school in 1976-7.
Bud always made us feel welcome and allowed our rather large and sometimes noisy dog, Baldar, to live with us without a problem.
I had just lost my Dad and Bud was a strong and reassuring figure for me when I needed one. No criticism, just warmth and support even though we met as total strangers.
I will always be grateful to him and to Joyce for taking us in and showing us love.
We are married 43 years this year; our two beautiful kids are grown and we hope only for the best for Joyce and for Carol and Barbara at this difficult time.

Dear Joyce, Carol and Barb, We send our prayers and sympathies for the loss of Bud/your Dad. We did get to visit with him last week and he shook Chase's hand immediately. We have fond memories of his dry sense of humor!

We knew Bud through his daughters.
He had to have done a heckuva lot right in rearing them.
While our hearts ache for your loss, we know all those wonderful memories will become treasures to sustain you.

Growing up at 145 Third Ave, I often saw Bud going back and forth in the alleyway between the houses...always fixing something or working on a project.
He gave off a Beautiful, Kind & Gentle energy just the same energy as ALL of the O'Donnell family.
God certainly made a 'Fine' batch of Human Beings with the O'Donnell bunch!
May Tender & Loving memories of Bud fill your hearts with Comfort.
