Obituary of Deborah M. Alcombright
Rensselaer- Deborah M. “Debby” Alcombright age 68 passed away suddenly Sunday, Sept. 22. 2019 at Albany Medical Center. Debby was born in Albany and was a life long resident of Rensselaer. She was past unit, county and district president of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Gerald O’Neil unit #1683. She was very talented and passionate, making her own beaded jewelry. But her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially supporting her grandson Liam. She was his biggest fan.
Mother of Meredith Gavin. Grandmother of Liam Gavin. Sister of David Fiacco, Juanita Lochner, Albert John Fiacco, Francis Fiacco, James Fiacco, Bruce Fiacco, Stephanie Hindes, and Marc Fiacco. She is pre-deceased by her parents and her brother Joseph Rymski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday morning at 10:00 and 11:00 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Williams Road North Greenbush where a funeral mass will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery Menands. A special thank you to the staff at the Albany Medical Center Emergency Room Dept. for the care, concern and compassion shown to Debby and her family.
