My condolences go out to Grace and the entire Kirsch family. I am forever grateful for the opportunity afforded to me by Bill to join the Siena College Athletics department staff. I benefitted from his encouragement and belief in me to be able to attain my dream career in athletics. He was a generous, fair and kind mentor who helped me to develop as an individual, coach and administrator over the 14 years that I worked with him. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his love and respect for competitive athletics. He truly had a heart of gold and a spirit unmatched. May he rest in eternal peace!

I am so proud to call Bill Kirsch my papa. He was a man of wisdom who taught so many people so many things. Husband, Father, grandfather, brother, teacher, coach and friend. He had a way of truly impacting everyone he knew.
Growing up I spent every April visiting my nana and papa at their house in Florida. Swimming, music, dancing and golf cart rides were some of our favorite things to do together. As I got older we would hit golf balls at the driving range on the golf course.. it’s something I didn’t realize at the time but my papa always made time to spend with me.. I will always cherish the memories.
We do not say goodbye, but see you later papa.. enjoy a cigar and the sunshine!! Love you so much
- Nicole Marie

Bill will be missed by many. He and Grace were good friends and neighbors. Missed them both so much when they moved back home. Can still hear his voice whenever he called "Grace". He did love his ice cream. So very sorry for your loss.

Kiirsch Family, My sincere condolences on the loss of my good friend of more than 55 years. I had so many great memories with Bill and years of his coaching days at Troy High, JCA, Siena College and times I had with Bobby, Glen and the high school days with Tim, Steve and Gayle. Thank you for your talks on those long bus trips about coaching, family, and life. RIP MY FRIEND
