There are so many memories about Uncle Bud so I will just share a few. Many of them were covered in his thoughtfully done obituary. My first clear memory was Uncle Bud and Aunt Betty taking Buddy Brian and myself to my first drive-in movie!! Pajamas and all (the boys had on blue ones with cowboys and horses on them)!! As an adult with my own children enjoying all those times we went camping together and the fun he would have in the pool with Jetta!! When you hear the word Cowboy Uncle Bud springs to mind. He sure did love that horse and anything to do with riding. The one thing I did think about that not everyone would know was that Bud was an incredible artist of horses. Every curve and muscle drawn perfectly. I know it has been a difficult year for you all and I do hope you more and more of these tiny memories sustain and encourage you. Without doubt, along with now seeing some of his siblings (my Mom, Beverly) included, Bud Bonner is sitting on his horse, cigar in hand, smiling at all of you!!! Love, Niece Gail and family.
