On Sunday March 29th Darlene A. Lopez (Dee) entered eternal rest, peacefully at home, beside her loving and devoted husband Robert M. Lopez. In addition to being greeted by her Lord she will be reunited with her Mother, Loraine I. Brooking, her Father, Earl E. Brooking, and her Brother, Michael E. Brooking. Darlene is surpassed by her brothers and sisters; Earl (Toby) Brooking (late Joan Brooking), Gail (Bob)Westfall, Beth Brooking, and John Brooking. She is also surpassed and remembered by many nieces and nephews who will always hold a special place in their heart for her. Darlene spent her adolescent years attending Van Rensselaer High School and then continued on to be a prominent employee as a clerk for New York State. If you were to remember Dee you know her love for animals shined through like no other, there wasn’t a creature she wouldn’t help, and that can be said for her devotion to people as well. Dee was talented beyond words, she could take something that no longer had perceivable beauty and turn it into a masterpiece. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
