My sincerest condolences to the Kapp Family.
My bother and I are deeply saddened to hear of Joes leaving us all so suddenly
We have great memories of Joe sharing fun years at St. Joseph’s and LaSalle High School
Joe had a one of a kind Laugh, you could here it in a full room and immediately know it was him.
He always took time to acknowledge everyone he came in contact with.
As Mayor of our city Joe brought young, fresh, ideas to the city.
Bob and I will miss Joes engaging conversations,
His laughter but most of all his friendship.
The world has lost a irreplaceable man and Joe has left a mark on us all.
RIP Joe
Fondest regards
Bill @ Bob Brayton

Dear Judy and Jim,
I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Whenever I was with him, Joe kept everyone upbeat and laughing. I remember him from the time he was in St. Joseph's school. I remember his parents. We called them Sis and Bud Kapp. May he rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Joe’s passing.
There are many memories beginning in 1971 at Clarkson, Kapp’s Beans Garden, Elmhurst Avenue, Elmhurst Research, phone chats, and more. Joe certainly had a radiant personality and the ability to immediately light up a room upon his entry. Joe was an inspiration for me during my professional and academic pursuits. I will certainly miss Joe but I will never forget him. I was honored to know him. No words will suffice to express my heartfelt sorrow for the entire Kapp family. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
