Obituary of James V. Polsinello
Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rensselaer- James “Jim” Vincent Polsinello, 86, was called home on Saturday, December 5, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jim had many interests, adventures and countless accomplishments. He would often say “I’ve done everything I’ve ever wanted to in life at least twice. It has been one heck of a ride. I have no regrets.”
Jim was a member of the local operating engineers for over 50 years and was a proud Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, who served during the Korean War. Jim was also a well-known Boxing Commissioner who enjoyed being ring side to meet the fighters in person.
One of Jim’s favorite hobbies was sport fishing aboard his boat named “Tramp” with his family along the East Coast. His love for football was shared with his sons while practicing together during their kicking careers at CBA. Jim also loved animals, especially his dogs. His passion for cooking, entertaining, telling stories and the laughs throughout the night were some of his most favorite pastimes.
Jim was a proud husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. His love for his family was unwavering.
We pray that Jim’s next journey is filled with peace, love and happiness for all eternity.
