Rensselaer- Monica A. Bashant, 79, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021.
Born on August 9, 1941, Monica was predeceased by her parents Lester H. and Grace R. Bashant.
Monica is the sister of Lester (Lorraine) Bashant Jr., Carol (James) McGaughan, Charles (Jacqueline) Bashant, Elizabeth (Paul) Bahm and Alan (Julie) Bashant; the late Nancy Hoffman and Mary Lee Brown; and is also survived by her eighteen nieces and nephews.
Monica will be remembered for her devotion to her parents, immense love of children and her dedication to her faith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Friday, February 26, 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s at Clinton Heights, 163 Columbia Turnpike Rensselaer, NY 12144.
The family would like to thank Peregrine Senior Living at Colonie for their compassion and care shown to Monica.
