Gram,
My heart is absolutely broken. I cannot even imagine having to say goodbye to you this week & not being able to talk to you again. You were my grandmother, my friend, my #1 fan and someone I was so very lucky to have in my life and in my girls lives. I know they say no one is ever ready to lose someone, but losing you leaves a huge hole in my heart. I will forever cherish memories of summers swimming in the pool, having you at all of my softball & volleyball games, watching Golden Girls & all of our Shirly Temple & Topper movies with you, and spending countless days shopping and going out to lunch/dinner. I will miss our phone conversations when I was on a long car ride and wanted someone to talk to, listening to Avery sing to you or having you read her a story and you always asking me "how are my babies?" The world was a better place with you in it & I am a better person for having had you in my life, Please know that I loved you, respected you and always appreciated you. I will miss you dearly and my girls will never forget who Ahma Berry was & what a huge impact you had on our lives. Fly high Gram & please watch over us all... I need you with me now more than ever.
