We fondly remember John! He was an enthusiastic and loyal clarinet player who seldom missed a band rehearsal or concert. As he first joined us, he even marched in parades for a few years. He was able to convince Rory to help as a drum cart puller for our famously large bass drum. We will mention John’s name with great respect at rehearsal this week. May he Rest In Peace. To John's Family, I am very sorry for your great loss. I worked with John at the NYS Emergency Management Office for over four years and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. We worked in the disaster recovery section and John was perfectly suited to it. He was kind, compassionate and patient and the disaster victims benefitted from his caring ways. He was also very competent and detail oriented so his work was complete and accurate which helped to hasten their assistance. He could be given any assignment and he would do an exceptional job with it. John had a heart of gold and I will miss him. I wish you peace. -Mark Kulzer
