Obituary of Rose R. Kostek
Hudson- Rose Kostek passed away on Saturday, October 2nd at home surrounded by family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, sister, daughter, and devoted soulmate, Howard.
She was born and raised in Hudson, NY, and resided in Rensselaer, NY, until the present. For 37 years she was employed by NY State Department of Taxation and Finance and a long-time State Exam Proctor, Red Hats Member, RPI Hockey Fan and Hospice Volunteer. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Michael’s Church, Father Mackey, Deacon Bob and Brother Ron.
Rose was an angel to everyone whose life she touched, supportive and loving. She will sorely be missed by all, especially the Church Ladies, the lifelong Hudson Gang, and Card Playing Friends, along with the families Vernon, Levine, Alexander, Goldstein, Sheffer, Flood, Hicks, and Monaco.
A funeral mass will be offered Wednesday morning at St. Michael’s Church, Williams Road North Greenbush, at 11:00 AM. Calling hours will be held at the church Wednesday prior to the mass from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson.
