We were so very sorry to learn of George's passing! He and Eleanor most graciously offered their Cancun timeshare for Sam and I to spend some very relaxing vacation time many years ago. Although we didn't know George well, Eleanor always told us so many wonderful things about him, and it was plain to see that he was the love of her life. His kindness and generosity to us will always be remembered. We will keep George, Eleanor and the family in our prayers.

George & Family,
We will all remember your dad fondly. He was always the same. A happy, easy going, even manned man. How fortunate to have had such a great role model! All you had to do was watch him to learn what’s important and how to live a meaningful life. The time you spent with him, helping him, looking after him could only reassure him that you were paying attention. Sorry for your loss.

I am saddened to learn of George's passing. I worked with George at Caterpillar Tractor in 1978 and 1979 while I was in college. He was always a chipper, upbeat fellow. Every once in a while he'd break into song, and he did have a remarkably fine voice. My condolences to his family.
