Obituary of Arthur F. Elmendorf

Mayfield- Arthur “Artie” F. Elmendorf age 72, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 at his residence with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Yonkers and was the son of the late Leona Woolford. He was raised and resided in Rensselaer for many years before moving to the Adirondacks, which was his true love.  Artie was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known as a true outdoorsman. Husband of Yvonne F. Hughes Elmendorf. Father of Donna M. Malmstrom and Diane L. Elmendorf. Grandfather of John and Jeremy Breithaupt.  Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Monday at 12Pm.  All are welcome to attend.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 11:00AM - 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
