Occasionally, throughout our journey of life, we are touched by a person whose qualities were combined in such a way - that they are in a class by themselves - unusual--extraordinary ---unforgettable! Betty was a woman of remarkable qualities.... I have had the privilege of being the recipient of Betty’s unusual charm, life- long ready smile and a genuine fun and frisky friend to all of us who had the privilege of sharing a part of her life. How often we have each seen a debilitating illness rob a person of the qualities which made him or her ---.a special person in our lives! Illness did not succeed in depriving Betty of her dignity, her charm, her strong spirit and constant expressions of gratitude - all of these qualities she possessed up to the very moment of her death. We give thanks to our faithful and cherished friend who has blessed us with her love... her friendship -- her goodness and her joyful presence in our lives --- may she now rest in peace!
