Obituary of Jacqueline M. Broughel

Rensselaer- Jacqueline M. Broughel, age 83, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was born Nov. 12, 1938 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

 

Jackie was a beautician for over 35 years and owned the Jacqueline Shoppe in Lansingburgh and Spiegletown. She loved traveling to the southwest with her husband Dave. Her hobbies included stained glass work, bowling, golf, and bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their academic and sporting events.

 

Wife of the late David J. Broughel, Jr. Mother of David J. Broughel, III (Jeanine Broughel) and Jacquelyn J. Villaderey (Manuel Fernandez Villaderey).  Grandmother of Andrew M. Broughel, Erin M. Broughel, Anthony Lara and Jadyn M. Lara.  Sister of Penny Noonan, Patricia Ryan, Jay Higgitt and the late Judy Girard.

Memorial service will be private at the convenience of the family.
