Obituary of Salvatore J. Anziano, Sr.
East Greenbush – Salvatore J. Anziano, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Sal was born in Oil City, PA and lived in East Greenbush most of his life. He served in the U.S. Navy. Sal was a Diesel Mechanic at Dorn’s Transportation but most of all he was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Sal enjoyed playing cards with his friends. He was a devoted communicant of Historic St. Mary’s Church on Capital Hill in Albany.
Sal leaves behind his sons Ralph Anizano, Salvatore Anizano, Jr., daughter Linda (Vincent) Janowski, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held at W. J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144 Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12 PM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 10-12PM. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
