Obituary of Charles H. Collier

East Greenbush – Charles H. Collier, M.D.  age 72 years of East Greenbush passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.  He was born in Salem, MA and was educated at North Shore Community College, Suffolk University, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and The Upstate Medical Center Syracuse NY Radiation Oncology.  Dr. Collier was employed at Albany Medical Center, Stratton VA Hospital, St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, Amsterdam Hospital, and Guthrie Medical Center in Corning, NY.  He was a member of the American Board of Radiology, resident of Radiation Oncology at American College of Radiology and the American Cancer Society, Clinical Fellow in Radiation Oncology.  He was also a member of U.S. Oncology, Chief Resident Radiation Department, American Board of Radiology, American Medicine Association, American Association for Cancer Education.  Dr. Collier was a dedicated doctor who had an interest in technology and electronics at University of the State of NY Medicine and Surgery.

Husband of Julie Josepha Collier whom he married in Newton, MA in 1978.  Son of the late Wilfred and Eleanor Collier.  Father of Edmund, Juliana, Christopher Collier and the late John Collier, brother of Will Collier, grandfather of Edmund Collier, Jr., Travis James Collier and John David Collier.
