Obituary of Robert L. Little

It's with a deep appreciation of his life we share the passing of Bob Little on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at the age of 70.

He was born January 29, 1952, to the late Louie and Marion Little. 

Bob was the beloved and devoted husband of 48 years to Chris and cherished father to Jesse. 

Bob was the proud owner of Bob's Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Services for over 25 years.  He was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman.  His family was his center.

Jesse gave him pure joy. 

He will be forever missed by all who loved him. His strength, humor and love will continue in our hearts. 

Bob is survived by his wife Chris Little (Matera) and son Jesse Little; mother-in-law Arlene Matera; cherished in laws Eileen Coyle; Nicholas Matera; Sharon Cunningham (Marc); Daniel Matera (Lisa) as well as several loving nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his father-in-law Nicholas Matera; his friend Ken Metchick and his most treasured brother-in-law Bruce Coyle who helped in so many ways. 

Bob's family would like to express a special thank you to the third-floor nurses and support staff at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and kindness. 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call to the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer Tuesday, Sept. 6^th from 11:00AM – 1:30PM. A memorial service will be following immediately after the visitation at 1:30PM.
