Obituary of Patricia A. Panetta

Albany- Patricia Mercier Panetta passed away Monday, Nov. 28th peacefully with her family at her bedside.  Pat was predeceased by her husband Michael Panetta, her parents; Ernest J. Mercier and Alice Drevojan Mercier, sisters; Eileen Mercier, Margorie Casapello and her niece Ruth Bardin.  Pat worked for Grand Union for 40 years. Her favorite pastime was going to the casinos with her sister Alice.  She loved her animals and had many dogs and cats.  She was an avid animal lover. Pat is survived by her loving family including her siblings; Catherine Chesnow, Alice Bardin, Ernest J. Mercier, Jr., Frederick (Olga)Mercier, Timothy Mercier, James Mercier, Thomas (Rebecca) Mercier and Sue Mercier. Pat had many nieces and nephews whom she loved equally. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer, Thursday, Dec. 1st at 11AM.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service beginning at 10AM.  Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pat’s memory may be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Albany, NY 12204.
