Obituary of Patricia L. Allen

Wyantskill- Patricia L. Allen lost her brave battle with cancer at home on Saturday, December 10, 2022, she was 67 years old. Patricia was born in Endicott, New York on September 24, 1955. 

Patricia was a loving mother and Nana who loved to bake for her grandchildren, tell them stories about her youth, craft and research her family history. Patricia was the oldest child of eight born to Thelma and Ernest “Smokey” Robertson. As a teenager, the family moved to Deland, Florida where Patricia would live until she met the love of her life and they moved their family back to New York.

She is survived by her loving children Angela Leinfelder of Rensselaer, NY, Donald (Megan) Leinfelder of Wyantskill, NY and Brittanny Miller of Averill Park, NY. She is also survived by her mother Thelma Robertson of Deland, FL and brothers and sisters; Thomas Robertson of Deltona, Fl, Joseph Robertson of Deland Fl, Joan Bell of Orange City, Fl and Bonnie Stone of Deland, Fl, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Patricia was the best Nana to her grandchildren who will miss her dearly: Dylan, Jaykob and Savannah Jones of Rensselaer, Patrick and Joey Leinfeder of Wyantskill, NY, Peyton and Nicholas Miller of Averill Park, NY and Lilly and Hope Leinfelder of Casleton, NY.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband John F. Allen III who died December 10, 1999, her son Jared Leinfelder and her son in law Gary E. Miller. She was also predeceased by her brothers; Kenneth and Michael Robertson and sister, Carol Bell.

Burial will be held in the spring at the family's discretion in Vestal Park Cemetery, Vestal NY where she will be laid to rest with her son Jared.
