Obituary of Tanya R. Reed
Averill Park- Tanya R. Reed, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Tanya was born in Albany to the late Whitney Sr., and Delores Reed. She attended and graduated from Averill Park High School and worked for the New York State Criminal Justice Service in Albany, retiring in 2020 after 37 years of dedicated service.
She leaves behind her brothers, Whitney Jr. (Ann), Kenneth and Robert Reed. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the W.J. Lyons, Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer NY, Friday, March 10th at 10 am, all are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call to the funeral home on Thursday, March 9th from 4-6pm. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery.
