Obituary of Patricia M. Hogle

East Greenbush-Patricia M. Hogle passed away peacefully on Thursday May 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Albany to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Burgess.

Patricia resided in the East Greenbush area for most of her life and was a loving homemaker who helped run the family business, Hogle Trucking. 

Patricia had many interests including traveling to Salisbury Beach, knitting, reading, playing cards, and gardening.  Her favorite activity, above all others, was spending time with her family and friends.  Patricia’s presence and memory will always be felt by those she loved in the simple acts of kindness that defined her, sitting in the sun on a beach, or when wrapped up in one of the many blankets she lovingly created for those she cherished.

Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, William J. Hogle. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Deborah Cunningham, Marjorie Senecal, and Sharon (Patrick) Kenneally; her grandchildren Todd Senecal, Douglas Senecal, Meredith Kenneally, Brad Kenneally, and Matthew Kenneally; her great-grandchildren, John Senecal, Jaxson Senecal, and Jennifer Senecal; and her very special nieces Donna Young and Cathy Budeshiem.  She was predeceased by her siblings Joan (Reginald) LaFayette, Marjorie Burgess, Elizabeth (Howard) Teal, Carolyn (Edward) Sees, Thomas (Fran) Burgess, Mary Jane (Charles) Hall, David (Christine) Burgess, and Richard Burgess.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, to the W.J. Lyons Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington avenue, Rensselaer. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 16 at 9:00am and 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Herrick Street, in Rensselaer.
