Sister Kathleen was an effervescent spirit for the Archdiocese of Anchorage. She was a “utility player” for our Archbishop. She brought her special spirit throughout the Archdiocese and brought kindness and balance. I was a child when I met her… and now am older than Alaska’s current Governor. She was a ROCK. She brought life and love… she knew most every Alaskan by name. She was needed… she was gifted… she was loved… and reflected that love in dark corners… corners where most don’t go! Thank you O’Hara Family and the Sisters of Mercy for sending your Sister Kathleen to Alaska. With her… we were home.

Sr Kathleen was my 6th grade teacher at St Teresa’s school and I will admit she was my favorite When I was confirmed I took Kathleen as my Confirmation name! Rest in peace!
