Obituary of Wayne A. Rowe

Rensselaer- Wayne A. Rowe, age 65 of Rensselaer passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at home.  He was born July 18, 1957, in Albany and was the son of the late Frances (Smith) and Raymond Rowe, Sr. After high school, Wayne worked at various locations as a busboy and as a laborer.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the races. Brother of Nancy Quell (Ed Holland), Deborah Anderson (Keith), Linda Sanchez (Daniel) and the late Raymond Rowe and Howard Rowe. Nephew of late Winnie and Floyd Worden. Long time companion of Joyce Shatraw and special friend of Ginny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer, Thursday at 10 AM. All are welcome to attend.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home, Wednesday, May 24^th from 4-7PM. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
