Obituary of William B. Fisk

Schodack- William B. Fisk, age 61, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, in New York City.  He was the son of the late Robert and Edith (Persico) Fisk.

After high school graduation, Bill went on to work as an over-sized truck mechanic for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., in Glenmont for almost 30 years. Bill will be remembered as a very loving and caring husband and friend, with a sarcastic, but wonderful sense of humor. He was not afraid of hard work and enjoyed NASCAR races and his beloved pets. Bill will be greatly missed by his entire family whom he greatly adored.

William is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Laura Schindler Fisk and son-in-law of June M. and the late Edward Schindler. Brother of Barbara (Rich) Hotaling, Robert (Deborah) Fisk, Jr., Edward (Barbara) Schindler, Jr., Eric (Peg) A. Schindler, Kurt (Cynthia) A. Schindler, and the late Jean (David) Schindler Cummings.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 4:00-7:00pm at the W.J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, NY.  Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Greenbush.
