Jim was well loved by so many family and friends. I considered him my younger brother, as my parents raised him from age 15, after he lost his mother, Lillian, and our grandmother. My mother, Alice, loved him like her own son. He was a wonderful artist, and in high school, won a City of Albany contest for his designs. He went on to serve for over 20 years in the Air Force, which he was very proud of. We were all happy when Jim and his family moved back to the area after his retirement from the service. He will be greatly missed.
