Obituary of Jill M. McLoughlin

Averill Park- Jill M. McLoughlin, 74, of Averill Park, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023. Jill was born to William D. and Rita (Ryan) McGuirk in Troy. She attended Catholic Central High School in Troy and graduated from Hudson Valley Community College. Jill was a homemaker and also worked as a home health aide for many years.

Jill is survived by her husband of 50 years William K. McLoughlin of Rensselaer and her children Mark (Jen) McLoughlin of Raleigh, NC, Bennett (Rachel) McLoughlin of North Syracuse, NY, William J. (Sovaira Mall) McLoughlin of Colonie, NY and Mollie (Jeffrey) DeLaMater of Peru, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; her brother William (Karen) McGuirk of Troy, NY; and several nieces and nephews. 

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Susan Dugan and an unborn McLoughlin grandchild. 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 4-6pm to the W.J. Lyons, Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 11:00am, at St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph's Church in Rensselaer NY. Burial to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
