Obituary of Susan M. Falkouski

Rensselaer- Susan M. Falkouski, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on, Sunday, July 16, 2023.  She was the daughter of Frank N. and Mary G. (Baugh) Scully.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer, where she married Michael D. Falkouski in 1966 and raised their family. She was a graduate of Rensselaer High School and went on to attend and receive a Nursing degree from Albany Nursing School. Later she built a career as an LPN and worked for Hallmark Nursing Home and the Red Cross Center.

Susan loved to travel often, was an avid reader and very much enjoyed shopping. 

She will be greatly missed by her beloved family. She leaves behind her son, Micheal David Falkouski, Jr; her grandson, Thatcher Deyoe; her sister, Mary N. Scully, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents Susan is predeceased by her husband Michael; her son David M. Falkouski; her daughter, Elizabeth A. (Falkouski) Deyoe; her grandson, Michaeal D. Falkouski, III; her brother, Joseph F. Scully and her sister, Deeanna R. (Scully) Bohley.

Per Susan’s request services will be held private for family and close friends.
