Obituary of Edith E. Wasula
Rensselaer- Edith E. Wasula, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at home. Edie was born in Troy and has been a resident of Rensselaer since 1969.
Edie worked alongside her husband, Peter, in the family business, Pete's Painting for many years and in her retirement at Hannaford, East Greenbush.
Wife of 54 years to Peter Wasula; mother of Peter Wasula, Tammy (David) Gorman, Joseph Wasula, Jason (Holly) Wasula, Jeffrey Wasula, Melissa (Corey Burr) Wasula; and sister of Ron Wilcox. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr., Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service at 9am. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
