Obituary of Phyllis A. Price

Rensselaer- Phyllis A. Price, age 80, passed away peacefully at Shaker Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was born in 1943 to the late William and Helen (Charles) LaFayette.

Phyllis dedicated many years of her life to working at SUNY Central Administration in Albany, where she truly made a difference. Her passion for gardening brought her joy and solace, and she cherished the time spent in her garden. Beyond her professional and personal interests, Phyllis was a pillar of support for her family and loved ones. Her generous spirit extended to fostering several children in need during her early years, embodying a selfless and compassionate nature. An avid animal lover, Phyllis's deep affection for pets was evident to all who knew her. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Phyllis is survived first husband, David Fisk and her beloved children, Michael L. (Melissa Ann) Fisk and Stacy Mendrick. She was the adored grandmother of Tori Fisk, Colin Mendrick and Caitlyn Mendrick and great grandmother to Blake, Bryce and Rylan.

Along with her parents, Phyllis is predeceased by her 2^nd husband, John Bradley and her 3^rd husband, Robert Price.

Services will be held privately in the summer.
