Colonie-Douglas E. Paige age 67, passed away on Monday January 18, 2016 at the Northeast Center for Special Care in Kingston, NY. He has resided there for the past 5 years, and was surrounded by several loving doctors and nurses. The son of the late Edward Levi Paige and Ailsa Ellen (Bailey) Paige. He was born on October 25, 1948 in Albany, NY. Douglas was a very creative artist and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by Steven (Julie) Paige, Merilee (Marshall) Roberts, Denise Paige, Edward L. (Lisa) Paige Jr., Thomas (fiancée Patricia Lester) Paige and the late Kathleen (Lynn) Newland. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Friday afternoon at 12:00. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Burial will follow the service at Albany Rural Cemetery.
