I have so many memories that it’s hard to write down just one. I remember one day we were all piled in to Aunt Pat’s car. I think it was myself, Michael Burns, Rebecca, Mary Morgan & Alice. Aunt Pat was moving off the ave and taking a car load to her new apartment in Latham. We were at the red light down the hill & I remember that my father drove by taking the turn in his car. As he drove by, Michael Burns sat out the window of the car and yelled, “Hey, Jackie Boy!”, and Aunt Pat turned and yelled back at Michael saying “Get down, you damn fool!” What makes this a memory that I cherish is not Aunt Pat yelling but the smile on her face as she tried not to laugh with us. I will miss that joy she brought to this world. I love you Aunt Pat. #53

Aunt Pat,
What a blessing it was this past year to have the time to sit with you and listen to stories about each of your siblings, your mom & dad, and your favorite memories. You were a fountain of knowledge and the true keeper of our family history. I am convinced that the banquet table of heaven is now complete since you arrived with your Mac Salad. Thank you for loving us all and making each of us feel special, I can’t wait for the day we all reunite. Love you, Tammy #39

Thank you Aunt Pat, for loving all of us unconditionally, for never forgetting anyone on their special day, for letting 50 kids play wiffle ball in your yard every day, for having the best porch swing on third ave, for always having time to ask how I was and caring about my kids, we love you and will miss you #45

I built a snow fort in Aunt Pats yard and furnished it with cushions from a couch on her front porch(you know the one, brown with orange flowers) I thought she was throwing it away. She had just cleaned it and was airing it out. When she called me over I thought she was going to kill me and I started to cry. Instead I got a laugh and a great big hug and she said I was thinking of getting a new couch anyway!
Miss you already. Thanks for taking care of us and our children and always remembering special days. Love you #50

Aunt Pat- Thank you for your great love you always showed and gave me~ for always being there throughout my life and never missing any of my biggest life events. I couldn’t have chose a better confirmation sponsor- the Faith you showed me and all of us was strong and helped mold us all into more caring, loving and forgiving individuals. The love you had for my children and grandchildren is a love they too will always carry in their hearts~you will be missed beyond words. Third Ave has lost an Angel on earth but im sure you will always be here in spirit. Love alway #48

Aunt Pat, for more than 30 years, I knew that every birthday I was going to hear from you. Some years you sang, some years texted and other years just talk. I will truly miss those calls and our chats about our family history. You are truly one of a kind. I know that you are rejoicing in heaven and I am so greatful for opportunity to be your nephew. We will see each other again. Love you!! #31
