Our deepest condolences to the Brown family. We are so very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Paul has been delivering hay to us for years. After each delivery, he would stop by and take the time to share in very meaningful conversations. Whether we talked about hay, fertilizing the fields, tractors, or politics, etc., we became good friends. We realized what a wonderful and kind man Paul was and how much he loved his family and the farm. He will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Deb and Alan Austin

My Hay Man Paul,
What a heck of a guy. Such an honest, kind, funny and generous friend. What great conversations we had when I stopped over for a load of Hay. One of nicest fellas I've ever known, always cheerful and willing to lend a hand. I will miss our talks and laughs and stories we shared. The world is a better place because of Paul Brown. I will miss you my friend.

We were very sad to learn of Paul's passing. I will always have prescious childhood memories of all the Brown Kids and all the fun both of our families had growing up. They were the best of neighbors in all respects and even into adulthood, Paul was the kindest, most honest, and hard working man we ever knew. Our sincere heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family. He will be sorely missed by anyone who had the blessing to know him.
With deepest regard,
Wayne and Ruthie (Scouller) Udwary

I’ve known Paul most of my life. I remember seeing him in Giffords IGA when I was a little girl. He was always polite but a man of few words. When I moved back to NY in 2010 after 20 years of living in the south, I went to him to buy hay for my horses. He always delivered quality hay and if he felt it wasn’t the best in every way he would discount it or not even charge for it. There were even times when I insisted he charge me for it because I had plans to use the hay before it would have a chance to go bad. He was that honest. I’ll always remember him saying to me “I’ll trust you until you give me a reason not to”. And the last thing I ever wanted to do was lose his trust. And I never did. And he never let me down. One year when there just wasn’t enough hay for everyone, he told me if things were bad enough I could come and take some of the hay from the barn floor. Fortunately I didn’t have to, but he put my mind at ease. I had a world of respect for Paul and I always will. I will miss working through the hay season with him and the peace I always had knowing that he would take care of my horses with a quality product. I don’t know what will happen going forward but I hope that his business can be continued through Paulie, the rest of the family and the people who worked with him. I would be honored to help the family finish this hay season if they need the help and I am always just two miles away if there is ever a need that I can help with. Rest in peace Paul and know how much you’re loved and will be missed. ♥️♥️
